From there we work to promote your camp, conference or retreat center to increase your bottom dollar.

Marketing Team 
Our Marketing Team, brings a wealth of experience to the industry and a passion for promoting your camp, conference, or retreat center. You can help enhance UCCR marketing efforts by selecting a representative to provide information to our Marketing Department.

When we begin working together, we may ask for current photos, or permission to be a collaborator on social media pages. 

Having a contact person at your facility helps us to gather the assets necessary to market your facility.

    This allows us to run Google Ads, write and post articles about your facilities, and draw referral traffic to your webpage on our website. We will create a beautiful landing page with information, a photo gallery, a facility map and instructions to contact you for reservations. (or us if you’re hiring us to take reservations for you)

  • Google Ads 
    We run multiple targeted ads to draw in customers. As part of our partnership, you will enjoy a portion of our 10K monthly advertising budget with Google Grants. 

  • Online Directory Listings 
    We will list your facility on multiple online retreat directories and manage the profile with photos and updates. 

  • Retreat Central 
    Enjoy a premium membership (value $499.00/annual) on the Retreat Central website where groups go to find retreat centers to use. In addition, if a group contacts Retreat Central and is looking for a location in your area, they will refer the group to your facility. 

  • Content Blogs + Ads 
    Our marketing team will write blogs and post them on uccr.org/your-facility-name using key words to draw googling customers to your page. We will add a geo-targeted Google Ad to increase visibility of the blog. 

  • Marketing Plan 
    Our team creates quarterly marketing plans, laying out content, target markets and plans to promote your facility.

  • Print Materials 
    Though we emphasize digital marketing, our marketing team is available to design brochures, rack cards or other handouts as needed. 

  • Newsletters 
    Your facility will be included in UCCR’s newsletters. We also collect emails from interested parties to build a contact list for your facility.

    Your facility will receive quarterly updates and reports you can share with your Board of Directors.

In 1970, UCCR was incorporated as a non-profit cooperative by an ecumenical group of ministers in Northern California who sought to combine their efforts for management of their church camp and retreat properties. The original denominations represented were the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the United Church of Christ, the American Baptists, The United Methodists, and the Presbyterian Church USA. Though UCCR has managed some non-church related properties since then, church camps and retreats continue to be the preeminent type of facility we manage and, therefore, our specialty.
